Solving the Dreaded "Multiple One-to-Many" Dilemma

Traditional report writer products do not allow end users to create a single report containing multiple one-to-many relationships. (Example: a report that required a detailed listing by store, of revenue by each kitchen appliance sold and revenue by each hardware item sold, with subtotals by kitchen appliances and subtotals by hardware.) Rather than having to go thru the complicated process of creating and linking sub reports, eWebReports allows the end user to design one comprehensive report.

Familiar Excel-Like Interface

When asked about the required functionality for an Ad Hoc reporting solution, almost all users rank the ability to create Excel output files high on the list. eWebReports outputs fully formatted Excel workbooks (not just CSV files), and allows users to design the format in an Excel-like grid. This eliminates the "guess work" in placing data in the correct cells.

Multi-level Access and Flexible Security

eWebReports offers numerous levels of access from full administration to read-only users. In addition, its security is flexible enough so that it can adapt to virtually any unique security environment. When fully integrated into your application, eWebReports can also be easily set up to work with your own application's login.

Smart Design Analysis

One of the most confusing functions for end users of standard report writers is determining how to define Headers, Footers, Sub-Totals and Totals. eWebReports Design Analysis Editor, using "fuzzy logic", determines which fields qualify in which category, and then allows users to review, and if necessary, re-categorize fields.

New Report Wizard

The primary goal of eWebReports is to allow not only "power users", but even the "casual user", to easily design and execute reports. The New Report Wizard is designed to walk users thru all of the required steps in creating a new report, from designing the layout, to selecting filters and sort sequencers, to selecting the output mode (e.g.: Excel, HTML, PDF, RTF).

Many reports are required to be run at set intervals. eWebReports allows users to schedule reports to be run at a predetermined time without any manual intervention.

Included with your licensing fee are 10 hours of individualized training from our eWebReports experts. Training is done via WebEx, which allows us to give you detailed instruction just like we were right there next to you. During training we cover:

Review of the interface and functionality
(A User Reference Guide is also included.)
