eWebReports Version 3.0 Released

New Version Adds Significant Functionality
While Maintaining Ease of Use

Exago Inc. is pleased to announce a major new release of their flagship ad hoc reporting software, eWebReports. "Targeting application software and service providers as our primary market requires that we continually upgrade eWebReports to ensure that our clients can maximize the opportunity to both increase their customer satisfaction and revenue," according to Mike Brody, CEO of Exago.

"A great challenge, as we continue to add significant new features to eWebReports, is to implement them in such a way, that we do not impact the overall ease of use of eWebReports," said Stew Meyers, Exago's Chief Architect. "In addition," said Meyers, "the user interface and code is constantly reviewed so that changes are integrated for the long term. You have to resist the 'quick fix,' and develop for the future well-being of the product and your customers."

Highlighting the new features of eWebReports are:

• User-Friendly HTML Viewer with many features such as a keyword search and PDF Simulation.
• Linked Reports with Drilldown Capabilities allow end users to link reports, which contain different levels of data. When a report is launched, only the data required for that report is returned. This can significantly improve performance over traditional drilldown reporting, which returns all of the required data for each drilldown. In addition, multiple windows can be opened, so that side by side comparisons can be made of sales performance or other comparative data.
• Powerful Data Merging with PDF Forms allows eWebReports to sort, filter and then merge data from an application into a PDF form, dramatically reducing both the time and error associated with producing PDF forms. Multiple page PDF Forms (i.e. a W-9 form) can be created as well as the ability to have multiple items repeat on the PDF form and if necessary continue to additional pages (i.e. an invoice form).
• More Flexible Cell Formatting now provides the opportunity to further enhance the presentation of reports. The display of borders, foreground/background colors, currency symbols, thousand separators, and negative numbers can now all be defined by the user.
